The Personal Restoration Retreat is a customised 3, 4 or 5-night Solo or Couple Retreat package. With daily personalised spa and massage treatments scheduled throughout your stay, this is the ultimate environment to reset, restore, and replenish.
The retreat is thoughtfully-designed to give you the space that you need to breathe, unwind and reconnect for the ultimate private rejuvenation experience. Relax into your own private wellness sanctuary, luxuriating in the attentive service, gourmet meals, and access to all that the nature estate has to offer.

On most weekends, our Resident Yoga teacher hosts a complimentary Sleep and Sound bath evening session with practical applications and best practices to optimise your sleep and your day.

While there is wifi available at the main Lodge, the private villas provide a digital detox haven, with no wifi or TV. There is still cell/data reception, so your digital exposure is completely up to you.
If possible, we highly recommend taking the opportunity to truly unplug and cultivate more presence during your stay.
If you allow it, Maruia can provide a deep reset of the system — mind, body and soul. Fall asleep to the sound of the river and awake to a symphony of birdsong.

Group Yoga classes in our stunning Yoga Shala
Yoga classes on schedule at 8am to 9:15am (your first or last morning is sleep-in day)
Private sessions can be booked at $275 for 75-minutes (these need to be booked in advance)
Use of the heated Magnesium Pool with swim jets, Finnish dry sauna, and hydrotherapy spa with cold-shower facilities
Guided group nature walk
Private meditative walks with access to the river and nature trails within our 500-acre beech forest and Maruia River estate, including a mini-waterfall and creek crossing with spectacular vista points
Access to the Wellness Center with a premium massage chair and extensive book library

Daily continental breakfast buffet served at the main Lodge — offering an extensive selection, healthy local ingredients, and Lasse’s delicious freshly-baked bread (prepared from scratch each morning)
Daily gourmet lunches available for you to enjoy at the Lodge or in your private villa
Nightly 3-course dinner at the main Lodge with option for private dining. This is sure to be a highlight of your stay, as it is with many of our guests. Offering delicious seasonal dishes and a menu that changes each night — our culinary experience is a delight to the senses.

Booking information: Prices are in NZD and include 15% New Zealand Goods & Services Tax (GST); A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation, with the balance payable 30 days prior to your booking date; The booking is transferable but not refundable; Cancellations and associated fees are subject to our cancellation policies viewable in our Terms and Conditions.
Health & safety: Unless booked for exclusive-use, we are unable to accommodate children under 14 years old; Smoking is not permitted on the property; Animals are not permitted on the property; We reserve the right to limit the number of people in a villa; Any damage to the room or property may be charged to the credit card provided, or billed to the guest.
Hygiene: The Wellness Center, the Yoga Chalet and all common indoor areas are equipped with Hepa-Filters and air purifiers. We regularly disinfect all surfaces within the facilities; Class numbers are limited to only 10 students; If you are feeling unwell, please stay in your villa and if you have symptoms of cold or flu please consider taking a covid test.
